FOLKDAYS presents SEVAR Studios by Hila & Wana Limar. The debut collection of the two sisters, launched in December 2020, features two fairly produced, handmade pairs of earrings whose delicate designs complement each other. This is the updated version of the original Goshwara 1 design. The new Goshwara 1 made of gold-plated silver with a lapis lazuli stone are now slightly shorter and thus a little lighter.

The collection’s designs were created by Hila Limar (architect & chairwoman of the board at the non-profit organisation Visions for Children e.V.) and Wana Limar (creative producer, presenter, Visions for Children e.V. ambassador and member of their PR team). The earrings were then handcrafted in the workshop of a goldsmith in Afghanistan's capital Kabul. Read more about the collaboration here.

With this cooperation, the sisters Hila and Wana Limar, who were born in Afghanistan, also introduce their new jewellery label SEVAR Studios. SEVAR Studios combines the sisters' shared affinity for artistic design with their educational, sustainable aspirations – and therefore connects their longstanding commitment to the educational sector, especially through the non-profit organisation Vision for Children e.V., with their love of art and aesthetics. Profits generated by SEVAR Studios will be invested in a goldsmith training programme for girls and young women in Kabul, which Visions for Children e.V. is planning for 2022.
