The small handmade tea cup is part of a series in two glazes, which consists of different cups, mugs and teapots. A distinctive detail is the two-tone design, where the slightly raw, natural surface of the dark clay forms a pretty contrast to the shiny, soft glaze. 

The cup is made by the artisans of the small family business Sivam Pottery in Puducherry in South India. Sivam Pottery works together with the Indian fair trade organization Fair Gift, which supports the marketing of the products and takes care of the export.
