This hand-woven and hand-printed robe was conceived by power woman and founder of „Trust the Girls,“ Melodie Michelberger in collaboration with the artisans of Sedhantik from India. Melodie loves unusual patterns and prints and has long been waiting for a robe, which can be worn on any occasion. The result is a modern take on the traditional Indian silk kimono, which we especially love for its speckled collar design and the beautiful block printing. And the best part of it: We only used wild silk for the manufacturing of the silk robe. In contrast to conventional silk, wild silk is made of the cocoons of already hatched silk moths, which doesn’t harm the insects.
