As a homage to the picnic season, we launch a new edition of the "Inspired By" collab series: FOLKDAYS and the Berlin cook, author, and activist Sophia Hoffmann have designed a large, soft picnic throw. Friends, food, and drinks all come together on the bright blue and red checks.

The versatile throw is an expression of Sophia Hoffmann's philosophy: "Part of my zero waste philosophy is minimalism. For me, this means having few, high-quality things that can be used in a variety of ways, such as this colourful throw. Whether as a large blanket for a picnic with friends, as a source of warmth for cool summer evenings or as a quickly knotted transport aid for drinking bottles, plates etc.".

Since Sophia Hoffmann turned her passion for culinary arts into her profession and founded her blog SophiaHoffmann.com in 2011, she has become one of the most important voices in vegan cuisine. And also stands for feminism, equality and social commitment.

The Sophia Picnic Throw was made by our long-time partner Color Silk from locally grown organic cotton.
