Shipping & Returns



Fast and transparent delivery is a matter of course for us. Deliveries are made by DHL or their logistics partners in the target country. If the customer is a consumer, the risk of accidental destruction, accidental damage or accidental loss of the goods is transferred to the customer at the point in time when the goods are delivered to the customer or if the customer is in default of acceptance. In all other cases liability is transferred to the customer when the goods are released to the delivery company.

GERMANY

Delivery of your order to a domestic address within Germany is free for orders over € 120.00. If the order is less than € 120.00, we will charge you a flat-rate delivery fee of € 4.90.

The average delivery time within Germany is 2-3 days. 

EUROPE

Delivery of your order to a domestic address within Europe is free for orders over € 180.00. If the order is less than € 180.00, we will charge you a flat-rate delivery fee of € 6.90.

The average delivery time for Europe shipping is 3-5 days. 

WORLD

Delivery of your order to a domestic address within the Rest of the world is free for orders over € 200.00. If the order is less than € 200.00, we will charge you a flat-rate delivery fee of € 9.90.

The average delivery time for world shipping is 8-14 days.

For deliveries to countries within the European Union (EU), 19% VAT is included in the invoice amount.

For deliveries to countries outside the EU, the invoice amount does not include VAT. The correct net amount is specified during the order process and in the order confirmation. Specific taxes and import duties for delivery to a non-EU country must be declared and paid to the relevant authorities of the importing country by the purchaser of the goods. 

 

RETURN

In case you do not like an ordered product, you can send it back to us within the next 14 days after receiving your order (according to the defined deadlines in our terms and conditions).

To process returns according to exercised right of revocation, we kindly ask you to do the following:

  1. Make sure the products are unworn and unwashed. The product has to be in original packaging (this only counts for the case of an on time revocation), furthermore the original box/envelope or a similar damage-safe packaging should be used, so that the original packaging of the product won’t be damaged during shipping. All parts belonging to the product should be included.
  2. In order to assign the returned package to the correct order, please include the receipt or a note with the order number.
  3. After that, send the package via a shipping service of your choice to following address:

Once we received the package and checked the product/s, we will refund your order.

In case you want to exchange a product against another colour or size or you want to submit a claim due to a defect, please see below.

 

EXCHANGE

If you want to exchange a product against another size or colour, you can send it back to us within the next 14 days after receiving your order (according to the defined deadlines in our terms and conditions).

To process exchanges according to exercised right of revocation, we kindly ask you to do the following:  

  1. Send us an email to: return@folkdays.com. We will send you a DHL-label. Exception: we can’t create a DHL-label for people residing outside of Germany. Please send the package via a delivery service of your choice and send us the receipt and your bank account info in an email. We will then refund the shipping costs.
  2. Make sure the products are unworn and unwashed. The product has to be in original packaging (this only counts for the case of an on time revocation), furthermore the original box/envelope or a similar damage-safe packaging should be used, so that the original packaging of the product won’t be damaged during shipping. All parts belonging to the product should be included.
  3. Please include a note stating your desired size or colour.
  4. Afterwards just drop off the package at your closest DHL shop.

Once we received the package and checked the product/s, we will send you the product in the desired size or colour.

COMPLAINT

If you want to send back a product due to a defect, you can do so within the next 14 days after receiving your order (according to the defined deadlines in our terms and conditions).

To process complaints according to exercised right of revocation, we kindly ask you to do the following:

  1. Send us an email to: return@folkdays.com. We will send you a DHL-label. Exception: we can’t create a DHL-label for people residing outside of Germany. Please send the package via a delivery service of your choice and send us the receipt and your bank account info in an email. We will then refund the shipping costs.
  1. Please use the original packaging or a similar damage-safe packaging, so that the product won’t be damaged during shipping. All parts belonging to the product should be included.
  2. In order to assign the returned package to the correct order, please include the receipt or a note with the order number. Please also include a note stating if you want a new defect-free product or the order to be refunded.
  3. Afterwards just drop off the package at your closest DHL shop.

Once we received the package and checked the product/s, we will refund your order or send you a new product.
