Featuring a generous size and soft quality, this hand-woven cotton blanket is ideal both as a picknick blanket or cozy bedspread. Delicately woven stripes in warm orange on a light beige background and fringes round off the subtle design.
The high-quality blanket is based on a co-design by the Berlin-based social
enterprise AMELMALO and the Shimena Weaving Friendships cooperative in
Ethiopia, which has been adapted for FOLKDAYS. The result: a multifunctional home textile with a warm colour palette, hand-woven from high-quality local cotton. Shimena Weaving Friendships has used only natural dyes for the colours.
